Personal Injury Contingency Agreements

Transparent & Effective Legal Representation

A serious accident or injury can result in extensive and ongoing medical treatment, loss of wages, and other financial hardships. After an accident, the injured individual might feel hopeless and may think that legal action is out of their financial reach. After all, if you are currently struggling to stay on top of mounting medical bills while also trying to manage your day-to-day expenses while out of work, how can you afford a lawyer?

In fact, personal injury attorneys—including ours at Gill Law Group, PC—offer legal services on what is known as a contingency fee basis. This arrangement makes it possible for anyone to obtain legal representation without having to worry about the costs associated with working with an attorney. The contingency fee agreement also allows you to focus on your medical treatment and recovery without having to worry about upfront legal expenses.

In a contingent fee agreement, your attorney receives a pre-negotiated percentage of the total recovery and receives reimbursement for costs from the proceeds of settlement or verdict. Your attorney will discuss the exact percentage before accepting your case, but a typical percentage is somewhere around 33% and generally no more than 40%. You will not receive bills or invoices for legal costs or expenses and all such fees and expenses will be settled at conclusion of your case.

Put simply, if we do not win your case, you do not pay.

Why Turn to Gill Law Group, PC?
